- Role
- WordPress Developer
- Stack
- WordPress · Elementor · ACF · Custom Plugin Development
THE CHALLENGE
The association was moving off a legacy Divi site and needed its blog content migrated cleanly, plus a maintainable way to publish tournament data without hand-building pages each season.
MY CONTRIBUTION
Migrated the blog from the legacy Divi site, built a custom tournament importer plugin (custom post type registration, Elementor dynamic tags, custom single templates), added an ACF-driven announcement bar and search filtering, restructured the membership benefits presentation, and fixed mobile overflow issues.
OUTCOME
- Tournament pages now generate from imported data instead of manual page builds
- Editors manage announcements through ACF fields without touching layouts
- Membership options presented as clear per-audience paths
- [Add a metric if available, e.g. number of tournaments imported]
